The mission of Southern Vance High School is to graduate every student with a high school diploma. The faculty and staff are focused on "teaching for learning".

Southern Vance High School's vision is to provide a caring and safe environment so that the school's mission can be implemented. The faculty and staff have a strong commitment to equip students with the 21st century skills needed for:

  • Success in postsecondary educational settings.

  • Competition in the local, state or global workplace.

  • Competetive enrollment in the military.

» Southern Vance High School will host an orientation for incoming ninth graders, who will be members of the Class of 2018, on Thursday, August 7, 2017.  The times for the sessions are 11a.m and 7p.m.  Students and their parents may attend either of the sessions.
